The short version

We don't log your prompts by default, we never train foundation models on your data, and we keep your compute in a private VPC. Privacy is how the product works, not a setting you have to find.

What we collect

Account data (name, email), usage and billing metadata (token counts, model, timestamp, cost), and support messages you send us. We collect the minimum needed to bill you and run the Service.

Content-blind logging

For every inference request we store the model, token counts, and cost — never the text of your prompts or outputs — unless you explicitly opt in to debug logging on a specific API key. This is the core of our uncensored guarantee: if we can't read it, we can't censor it.

No training on your data

We do not use your Content to train or fine-tune foundation models. Fine-tunes you commission are yours and are stored isolated per account.

Where data lives

Compute and storage are regionalized. Your data stays in the region you select. We use sub-processors (cloud and networking providers) under data processing agreements.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise a right, email privacy@moton.io. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

Debug logs (when opted in) are retained 30 days. Billing records are retained as required by law. Servers are deleted when you delete them.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
